Your website lives in public_html inside cPanel. Anything you place there is served at your domain.
- Upload files — cPanel → File Manager →
public_html, then Upload. For a static site, uploadindex.html(or your build output) and you are live. - Use FTP — host: your domain, username: your cPanel user, password: your cPanel password, port 21. Enter passive mode if your client asks.
- Install an app — cPanel → Softaculous installs WordPress, Laravel, PrestaShop and 400+ others in a couple of clicks.
If you still see a default page after uploading, clear your browser cache and make sure the file is named exactly index.html, index.htm or index.php.
