A transfer moves the registration to us and adds a year to the expiry. It requires the domain to be at least 60 days old and unlocked.
- At your current registrar, disable the registrar lock (transfer lock) and request the EPP / authorisation code.
- In the client area, order a Domain Transfer for that name and enter the code.
- Approve the confirmation email the registry sends to the domain's admin contact.
Transfers normally complete in 5-7 days. Email and website keep working throughout if your DNS already points here. If the transfer fails, the code is usually wrong or the domain is still locked.
