cPanel → FTP Accounts → Add FTP Account.
- Choose a username and password, then set the Directory the account may access - for example
public_html/shop. - Connect with host = your domain, port 21, and passive mode enabled. The login name is
user@yourdomain.com. - To restrict access to one folder only, set the directory and leave the rest of the fields alone.
If your client cannot connect, check the password first, then try port 21 without TLS; some networks block FTP entirely, in which case use File Manager or SFTP.
